The trout season on the River Tweed varies depending on the beats. The closed season for trout fishing, where no trout fishing is available at all, is 7th October to 14th March (inclusive). This period coincides with the best of the Grayling fishing so even though Tweed Guide is unable to offer trout fishing at this time, superb Grayling fishing is available.
